Ever wondered what your dentist can actually see inside your mouth?

Some dental problems are not easy to see with the naked eye. Small cavities, cracks, worn-out areas, plaque buildup or gum problems may be difficult to identify on your own.

At Arsh Dental Care, Chandkheda, we use an intraoral camera during dental examinations whenever it can help us explain your dental condition more clearly.

What is an intraoral camera?

An intraoral camera is a small camera that captures clear, magnified images of your teeth and gums. These images can be shown to you on a screen during your consultation.

This helps you understand:

✔️ Areas that are difficult to see yourself
✔️ Cavities, cracks and worn-out tooth surfaces
✔️ Plaque, calculus deposits and gum-related changes
✔️ The reason behind a recommended treatment
✔️ Changes that may be compared over time

Why do we use it?

We believe dental treatment should be properly explained to every patient.

Instead of simply telling you that there is a problem, we can show you the area and discuss it with you. This makes it easier to understand your condition, ask questions and make an informed decision about your treatment.

An intraoral camera can also help with treatment documentation and patient education. However, it is used along with a complete clinical examination and dental X-rays whenever required. It does not replace these important diagnostic methods.

At Arsh Dental Care, our focus is on clear communication, ethical treatment planning and recommending only what is needed for your dental health.
